Be a Part of Our 2026 Living Nativity in Clarence NY
St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clarence Center, NY invites our members, friends, and neighbors to be part of our 2026 Living Nativity. This grand event has become a cherished tradition of the church and draws hundreds of people each year to hear and experience the Christmas story in a memorable way. The Living Nativity will be held the first Friday and Saturday in December, and we would love to have you involved.
Every December, St. Paul Lutheran Church partners with Kelkenberg Farm to present a Living Nativity that invites guests to experience “the greatest story ever told” in a reverent, family-friendly, and unhurried way. Visitors begin at St. Paul, 7720 Goodrich Road in Clarence Center, and continue through a guided journey toward Bethlehem. Along the way, the story of Christ’s birth unfolds scene by scene with shepherds, angels, animals, and the humble manger where the Savior is born.

A Living Witness to the Birth of Christ
The Living Nativity is more than a seasonal event or Christmas display. It is a public confession that God has kept His promises by sending His Son into the world for sinners. In a time when the Christmas season can become hurried, crowded, and distracted, this event gives families and visitors a chance to slow down and hear again the good news of Jesus’ birth. St. Paul’s Living Nativity has become a meaningful outreach to Clarence Center, Clarence, East Amherst, Williamsville, Amherst, Lancaster, Lockport, and the greater Buffalo area. Guests come from nearby neighborhoods and surrounding towns to take part in this peaceful Christmas experience. For many, it is a treasured family tradition; for others, it may be their first meaningful encounter with the Gospel story.
