The annual Chili Bowl Cook Off at St. Paul Lutheran Church is in the books—and what a great day it was to warm up with delicious chili and even better conversation. Congratulations to this year’s winners: Liz, Char, and Melinda! And thank you to everyone who cooked, served, judged, and joined in. Your time and kindness turned a simple meal into a joyful community gathering.

Events like the Chili Bowl are never just about food. They’re about neighbors becoming friends, newcomers feeling welcomed, and our church family sharing life together. In the middle of winter, it was a gift to slow down, laugh, and enjoy fellowship around the tables. At St. Paul Lutheran Church, we believe these moments matter because Jesus is at the center of who we are. We gather as people who live by God’s mercy and His promises in Christ, and we’re grateful for every opportunity to show care and hospitality in His name.
