Spring Clean Up Day for Lutheran Churches in Clarence NY

Spring Cleanup Day at St. Paul Lutheran Church

As the season of spring unfolds, bringing renewal and new life, we are reminded of the Lord’s ongoing care for His creation and His Church. At St. Paul Lutheran Church, a confessional and traditional Lutheran church in Clarence Center, NY, we invite you to join us in a time of both fellowship and service. This is a simple yet meaningful way to live out our life together in Christ.

Join Us After the Divine Service

On Sunday, May 3rd, we ask you to plan to stay after the Divine Service for our annual spring cleanup, weather permitting. This is a wonderful opportunity for members and visitors alike to work together in caring for the place where we gather to receive God’s gifts. Both outdoor and indoor tasks will be available, so there is something for everyone to contribute.

What to Bring

Please bring your gardening tools and gloves, as we tend to the grounds and prepare the church property for the months ahead. Whether it is planting, cleaning, organizing, or general upkeep, each small act contributes to the beauty and stewardship of the Lord’s house. In this way, we care not only for a building, but for the place where Christ serves us through His Word and Sacraments. As the Apostle Paul writes, “So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone” (Galatians 6:10, ESV). Even in these ordinary tasks, we serve our neighbors and support the life of the Church. Such work is done not for recognition, but in love and gratitude to God.

Fellowship and Refreshments

In addition to the work, there will also be time for fellowship. Bagels and pastries will be provided, giving us the chance to visit with one another and enjoy the community we share in Christ. These moments of conversation and cooperation strengthen the bonds we share as members of His body. If you are searching for churches in Clarence, NY, or a Lutheran church near East Amherst, Williamsville, or Buffalo, NY, we invite you to come and be part of this day. Even if you are visiting for the first time, you are welcome to stay and join us. The life of the Church extends beyond Sunday morning worship into the shared care and fellowship of its people. We serve families and individuals throughout East Amherst, Clarence, Williamsville, Clarence Center, and the greater Buffalo area. We are a people loved by God, inviting more people loved by God to join us. As our Lord says, “Come and see” (John 1:39, ESV).
