Because of this, we are grateful for opportunities to love and support our neighbors, especially the most vulnerable among us. One such opportunity is the upcoming 2026 CompassCare “Walk for Life,” and we warmly invite you to take part.

Why St Paul Lutheran Church Walks

CompassCare is a Christ-centered ministry that serves women and families by providing life-affirming medical care, support, and resources. Their work reflects a deep commitment to the dignity of every human life, especially those in the womb. As Christians, we recognize this not merely as a social cause, but as a confession rooted in the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Son of God did not despise life in the womb, but sanctified it by taking on flesh in the Virgin Mary. From His conception, He is true God and true man, come to redeem us.

The Gift of Life and Our Christian Calling

Because of this, we gladly stand for life—not out of political motivation, but out of love for our neighbor and faithfulness to God’s Word. As the Psalmist confesses, “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb” (Psalm 139:13). Every life is known by God, created by Him, and precious in His sight. The Walk for Life is a simple and meaningful way to bear witness to this truth. It is also an opportunity to support the work of CompassCare, which continues to provide compassionate care to those in need. By walking together, we not only raise awareness, but also give encouragement to one another as members of Christ’s body.
