Ask a Pastor: With Pastor Rako Zech
Young adulthood is often a season of searching, not only for direction, but for something durable enough to carry the weight of real life. Many people sense that spiritual questions cannot be reduced to slogans or quick takes. They require time, patience, and a community willing to listen carefully.
Ask a Pastor is an informal gathering for young adults who want space for honest conversation about the Christian faith. It’s designed to function like a Bible study, a Bible group, and a young adults group, with a clear difference, the discussion is facilitated by pastors, but not dominated by them. The pace is unhurried, the tone is charitable, and the goal is clarity shaped by Holy Scripture and the Church’s historic confession.
If you’re looking for a young adults Bible study in Niagara Falls, or a steady Bible group near Buffalo, this gathering is meant to be accessible and welcoming. Many participants come from across Niagara County, including Niagara Falls, and from nearby communities in the Buffalo area. For those in Clarence and Clarence Center, NY, it’s a straightforward drive to join a monthly rhythm of food, conversation, and real Christian teaching.
Two pastors will be present to facilitate, listen, and help keep the conversation focused. This is not a lecture, and it is not a debate club. It is guided discussion where questions, doubts, and reflections can be voiced without embarrassment, and where the center remains Christ’s gifts, His Word, His mercy, and His promises.
The evening begins with food at 6:00 PM, followed by discussion from 6:30–8:00 PM. We meet at Grace Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. On Tuesday, February 24, Pastor Zech will be facilitating.
You do not need to prepare. You do not need to perform. If you are curious, returning, or simply hoping to grow in understanding, you are welcome. Come as you are, bring a friend if you like, and join us for a calm, thoughtful young adults group centered on Scripture and the Gospel.
